All Sports - Parent Role
This page will go over everything you need to know about adding the "Parent Role" in the QwikCut platform.
For those who would like to, coaches can now offer parents controlled access to game film.
For teams that don't offer streaming services, this is a great way to let family or distant relatives watch their favorite athlete's games.
A pop-up indicates pricing for the parent access. However, your team can charge a fee to parents for this access as a way to generate extra revenue for the program.
Click submit and you'll see a page that says make payment choose a card to use or
you can add your card to make the payment.
We understand however that it might be a little tedious to add every single parent if you have a lot of parents that want to be added, to solve this we have a way to import a parent list from a spreadsheet.
Click the import button here and click import parents:
We allow you to import an excel file that mimics the Hudl import/export file. It's very important to remember that the columns must be exactly in this order or else it will not work.
First name, then last name, email address, and cell phone number, once formatted, just upload or drop the excel file in here, then click import.
You can also adjust the permissions that all of the parents have by clicking settings and going to manage parents abilities.
This is a global adjustment so whatever you change here will apply to every single parent.
Some coaches may only want parents to watch film and upload to the media library, others may prefer to block stats and playbook access for example. Click submit and now every parent will have their permissions updated.
