BASKETBALL - My Video Player Icons 2.0

Along the bottom of the video player, you will see multiple icons. We will go through the icons in three sections from left to right:



SECTION 1:
In the first section, you will find the icons relating to the playing, pausing, fast forward, rewinding, jumping seconds forward or backwards, and tagging of the video:





1.) Rewind in Fast Speed - by clicking this icon continuously, you can watch the video play in reverse, in a fast paced speed. 
2.) Rewind in Slow Speed - by clicking this icon continuously, you can watch the video play in reverse, in a slow paced speed.
3.) Play - by clicking this icon, the video will begin to play, causing the icon to immediately change to a pause icon. 
  1. To pause the video, you can click the pause icon or tap your spacebar. You can also resume the video by tapping space bar again. 
4.) Fast Forward in Slow Speed - by clicking this icon continuously, you can watch the video play in a slow paced speed.
  1. If the video is paused, you can click this icon once or repeatedly and the video will play in fractions of a second at a time, in slow paced speed. 
5.) Fast Forward in Fast Speed - by clicking this icon continuously, you can watch the video play in a fast forwarded speed. 
  1. If the video is paused, you can click this icon once or repeatedly and the video will play in fractions of a second at a time, in a fast paced speed.
6.) Jump Back 10 Seconds - by clicking this icon, your film will automatically reverse to 10 seconds prior.
7.) Jump Back 5 Secondsby clicking this icon, your film will automatically reverse to 5 seconds prior.
8.) Jump Ahead 5 Secondsby clicking this icon, your film will automatically fast forward to 5 seconds ahead.
9.) Jump Ahead 10 Secondsby clicking this icon, your film will automatically fast forward to 10 seconds ahead.
10.) QwikTag - by clicking this icon, a green tag will be placed in the timeline of the game as create it as a 'favorite' to easily aid in building highlights.




1.) Skip to Previous Clip - by clicking this icon once, your video will skip to the previous clip and play automatically.
  1. This feature is only available on the football platform as games uploaded clip by clip.
2.) Skip to Next Clip - by clicking this icon once, your video will skip to the next clip and play automatically.
  1. This feature is only available on the football as the games are uploaded clip by clip.
3.) Restart - by clicking this icon once, your video will restart at the beginning and play automatically. 
  1. For football, this will restart the current clip you are watching.
  2. For all other sports, this will restart your entire game at 00:00:00.

SECTION 2:
In the second section, you will find the icons relating to creating telestration/annotations on the video:


When you click any of the icons 1-6, it will place a yellow mark in the video player tracking bar and will automatically pause when you get to this point in your film. You can then resume the video by either of the previous advised methods of physically clicking the play button or tapping the space bar. 
  1. You are unable to change the color of any telestration or modify the style/size of text.

1.) Custom Line - by clicking this icon, you can draw any style line or shape you want.
  1. To use: click and hold down the left side of your mouse continuously until you have your desired line or shape.
  2. To move: ensure that you are selected on the icon, click on the screen where you have created the line or shape and a box will appear with lines and circles, allowing you to move elsewhere on the screen, of that frame, by clicking with the left side of your mouse continuously and moving mouse on screen. You can also drag the corners to make the line or shape larger. When you are satisfied with the placement, click anywhere else in the video player and your image placement will save.



2.) Straight Line - by clicking this icon, you can place a straight line.
  1. To use: click and hold down the left side of your mouse continuously until you have your desired length of the line.
  2. To move: ensure that you are selected on the icon, click on the screen where you have created the line and a small box that looks like a line or a large box will appear with lines and circles, depending on the angle of the line, allowing you to move elsewhere on the screen, of that frame, by clicking with the left side of your mouse continuously and moving mouse on screen. You can also drag the corners to make the line longer. When you are satisfied with the placement, click anywhere else in the video player and your image placement will save. 
    1. To change angle: while selected on the line, find the small white dot (red squares used for reference), click continuously with the left side of the mouse, and move you mouse left and right until you reach the desired angle. When you are satisfied, click anywhere else in the video player and it will save.





3.) Arrow - by clicking this icon, you can place an arrow.
  1. To use: click and hold down the left side of your mouse continuously until you have your desired length of the arrow.
  2. To move: ensure that you are selected on the icon, click on the screen where you have created the arrow and a small box that looks like a line or a large box will appear with lines and circles, depending on the angle of the arrow, allowing you to move elsewhere on the screen, of that frame, by clicking with the left side of your mouse continuously and moving mouse on screen. You can also drag the corners to make the arrow longer. When you are satisfied with the placement, click anywhere else in the video player and your image placement will save. 
    1. To change angle: while selected on the arrow, find the small white dot (red squares used for reference), click continuously with the left side of the mouse, and move you mouse left and right until you reach the desired angle. When you are satisfied, click anywhere else in the video player and it will save.





4.) Blocking Line - by clicking this line, you can place a blocking line.
  1. To use: click and hold down the left side of your mouse continuously until you have your desired length of the line.
  2. To move: ensure that you are selected on the icon, click on the screen where you have created the arrow and a small box that looks like a line or a large box will appear with lines and circles, depending on the angle of the line, allowing you to move elsewhere on the screen, of that frame, by clicking with the left side of your mouse continuously and moving mouse on screen. You can also drag the corners to make the line longer. When you are satisfied with the placement, click anywhere else in the video player and your image placement will save. 
    1. To change angle: while selected on the arrow, find the small white dot (red squares used for reference), click continuously with the left side of the mouse, and move you mouse left and right until you reach the desired angle. When you are satisfied, click anywhere else in the video player and it will save.



5.) Circle - by clicking this icon, you can place a transparent circle. 
  1. To use: click and hold down the left side of your mouse continuously until you have your desired size of circle.
  2. To move: ensure that you are selected on the icon, click on the screen where you have created the circle and a box will appear with lines and circles, allowing you to move elsewhere on the screen, of that frame, by clicking with the left side of your mouse continuously and moving mouse on screen. You can also drag the corners to make the circle smaller or larger. When you are satisfied with the placement, click anywhere else in the video player and your image placement will save. 
    1. To change shape: while selected on the circle, find the small white dot (red squares used for reference), click continuously with the left side of the mouse, and move in any direction to manipulate the size and shape. When you are satisfied, click anywhere else in the video player and it will save.





6.) Text Box - by clicking this icon, you will add a text box. 
  1. To use: click the icon and click with the left side of your mouse on the screen where you want the top left of the corner of the box to start. 
    1. THIS IS THE ONLY FEATURE YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PHYSICALLY MOVE ON THE VIDEO PLAYER SCREEN!
  2. To change shape: hover your mouse over the bottom right corner where there are two lines, click with the left side of your mouse and move downward to make box larger, or upward to make box smaller.  When you are satisfied, click anywhere else in the video player and the size of the box will save.
  3. To edit text: click inside the text box and type. Once you are done, click outside of the text box. 
    1. If you are unhappy with the location of the text box, click undo and click in a different area of your screen.



7.) Undo - by clicking this icon, you will be able to undo the selected telestration and create a new one.
  1. To use: you do not need to be selected on any telestration icon to use this feature but if you are not selected, it will continue to undo telestrations in the order of most recently created. If you are wanting to undo a specific telestration, see Delete.

8.) Delete - by clicking this icon, you will permanently delete the telestration on the video. 
  1. To use: you must be selected on the telestration icon that you wanting to delete, then click on the line, shape, arrow, etc. for the previously advised box with lines and circles to appear, then press the red delete icon. You must click on each telestration then click delete, if you have multiple items you are wanting to delete.

SECTION 3:
In the third section, you will find icons relating to the viewing of the video. 


1.) Time Elapsed - you cannot click this icon; the time will increase as the clips/video plays.
2.) Total Time - you cannot click this icon; this is a fixed time that will show the total length of the clip/video and will not increase as the clips/video plays.
3.) Viewing Speed - by clicking this icon, you will be able to select 5 speeds to watch the film:
  1. 0.25x - this is slowed down at a quarter of the speed
  2. 0.5x - this is slowed down at half the sleep
  3. 1x - this is the auto selection of normal sleep
  4. 2x - this is sped up at 2 times the speed
  5. 4x - this is sped up at 4 times the speed


4.) Angle - there is nothing that you can change by clicking this icon as film is typically only ever uploaded as 1 angle, wide:


5.) Gear Iconby clicking this icon, a box will pop up with options relating to how your clips/video is played:
  1. Mute Audio - by clicking this box, a check mark will appear and your entire video will be muted. To unmute, uncheck the box. If your film was uploaded and you selected to mute audio, clicking this will not turn on or off the audio.
  2. Show Annotations - by clicking this box, a check mark will appear and any annotations you have applied to the film will appear. To turn off annotations from appearing, uncheck the box.


5.) Full Screen - by clicking this icon, your screen will enter full screen mode. To exit, simply hit you ESC (escape) key on your keyboard, you click the icon in the bottom right corner of 2 arrows pointing at each other.
